Protect Our Historic Shooting Club in San Antonio

My name is Sean McCord and I am a member of the San Antonio Target, Hunting and Fishing Club in San Antonio, TX. Our non-profit private club was established in 1953 with the purpose of providing a safe place for outdoorsmen and their guests to enjoy their common interest in shooting sports. For more than 70 years, our members have used our rifle, pistol, and trap ranges to hone their skills while learning and teaching firearm safety. Our facility has also served as a place for members and their guests to come together and enjoy each other's company during official club-sanctioned events as well as private get-togethers.

As the years have gone by, we have seen the city of San Antonio grow up around our property, which used to be "out in the sticks." Unfortunately, we are now in a legal dispute with an organization who recently purchased the property next to our own. While we intend to defend our right to safely use our property as we see fit, we could use your help. Please donate whatever you can toward our legal defense fund and rest assured that any funds received will go to legal expenses only. Any funds received in excess of our legal expenses will be donated to charity. We sincerely appreciate your help in defending our rights and helping to preserve this San Antonio landmark and the best little shooting range in Texas.
