Protect Our Nurses at Southlake Hospital!

Residents of York Region know that Southlake Hospital & Frontline Workers are running low on key PPE items (masks, gowns and gloves) that are crucial to ensure their safety and ability to continue working and help us fight COVID-19. 

As Lighthouse Legal Services continues to operate, we are committed to supporting the community in these uncertain times, and have started reaching out to our community partners and friends to help supply PPE to Southlake Regional Hospital.

We have identified 2 suppliers of PPE and N95 masks, that can assist our community hospital. Our goal is to collect as much PPE supplies that is needed by our front line workers.

Your dollars will go directly towards purchasing these key items so we can donate them. Lighthouse will cover the cost of shipping these items to the Hospital.

Every dollar counts. Here are some rough estimates of how far your donations will go:

$0.39 per unit for KN95 masks
$1.4 -1.8 per unit for N95 masks

As someone who is married to a front line worker, I am concerned about the current Covid-19 pandemic. But, I am grateful for their dedication, and support they continue to provide for all of us. The time is now for us to help them back!

Who are we?

Lighthouse Legal Services is a community oriented legal services firm that primarily assists people charge by the police with provincial offences matters, traffic tickets, and summary criminal charges. Lighthouse prides itself with it's partnership with Inn from the Cold, and other non-profit organizations within the local community.

Where will dollars raised go?

All dollars raised will go towards purchasing these N95 masks and KN95 masks. Lighthouse will be responsible for delivering the PPE supplies to Southlake Regional Hospital.
