Support the Oglethorpe Plan Coalition

My name is Andrew Jones. I am a preservationist in the City of Savannah, Georgia and the incorporator of the Oglethorpe Plan Coalition, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Savannah's historic Oglethorpe Plan, which is the basis for Savannah's National Historic Landmark status.

We are fighting projects like the proposal at 336 Barnard Street, which we believe threatens the integrity of the district. On January 26 and March 23, the City of Savannah Zoning Board of Appeals rejected our two appeals of the project. We allege the Board committed errors in doing so and are proceeding to take the case to the Superior Court of Chatham County.

We are seeking tax-deductible contributions to the Oglethorpe Plan Coalition to cover the legal expenses and related costs for our appeal of the decisions on 336 Barnard Street, as well as to fund additional preservation efforts
