Proton Radiation for Naia

Naia’s Proton Radiation adventure in Boston
Thankfully Naia is well covered by insurance and we are able to get this high quality health care for her - we are aware of what a privilege that is. However we will be responsible for our living expenses while we are on location in Boston for six weeks (and, of course, there is no paid leave for an acupuncturist in private practice). Since Naia is in a wheelchair, staying with friends and family is mostly out because almost all the residential housing in the area involves stairs.
Many of you have asked if there are ways you can help. I’ve tried to put together a list of some anticipated needs during this time - although I’m sure things will come up that I have not thought of..
Anything that you are able to help with would be greatly appreciated. And please leave your mailing address along with your contribution, so we can send you a note!
We would also love to get mail or hear from you! Fatigue is one of the main side effects of radiation, and Naia already deals with quite a bit from her other conditions. We’d love to get a cheerful email or a note. Our mailing address will be:
Naia Tenerowicz

Apt. 2 –
Boston, MA 02114
Housing will be one of the big expenses while we are doing this. After a bit of searching, we were accepted to stay at Christopher’s Haven, which will be a great help. We will get an apartment across the street from the hospital for $30/night (which is Boston is amazing, and for us still adds up). They have been very welcoming and seem like a great organization. If you are inspired to contribute to them, they have an Amazon wish list:

If you'd like to contribute through GoFundMe here are some possible ways to help:
Housing $30 / 45 nights
Parking at the hospital $6 / 35
Lunch at the hospital $ 14/ 35
Go to the museum $25
Healthy food to cook $85 / 6
Aquarium membership $109 (we love cuttlefish)
(and penguins)
