A fresh start for MC and her children

Dear family, friends and fighters for good causes,

As I write this, it occurs to me how appropriate it is that we make this plea so close to the day when we celebrate Mothers everywhere.

Until recently, MC resided with her two children and the children's father. She has been a devoted stay-at-home mom since the year 2020, when the pandemic brought the restaurant industry to a screeching halt. A recent separation beween MC and the children's father had caused MC to have to leave her residence. She has been forced to start from scratch, relying on local friends while she navigates very suddenly having to find a job and a new home.

Also, as a result of this separation from the children's father, MC does not currently have custody of her children. Custody was taken from her because she has not had the legal and financial means to fight back, having been a stay-at-home mom for the last few years. If you are one of the lucky people who have witnessed this woman's unending love for her children, you may have some small inkling of how painful this has been for her. Yet she is determined to rebuild her life, regain custody of her children and provide them with a loving and nurturing life.

MC has no immediate family, no one to ask. So I'm asking...let's be her family. Let's help this beautiful mother reunite with her children. She needs help with the legal means for custody proceedings and also for the initial cost of securing a safe home. Every little bit helps and is so greatly appreciated.
