Provide a lifeline to Nidaa, a young widowed mom from Gaza

My name is Rolonda and I am from New York. I am raising funds to help my dear friend Nidaa survive the catastrophic situation in Gaza. She has faced endless suffering with the loss of her husband, her home, and livelihood. These funds will be used in their entirety to support Nidaa and her young daughter’s basic needs for survival.

In Nidaa’s words: On October 7, 2023, the first day of the war, I lost my husband, became a widow, and my little girl became an orphan deprived of a father. Since that day, I have been supporting her alone, and I am suffering from displacement and caring for my daughter alone. I now live in a tent and I need your help in providing my daughter’s daily needs of diapers, milk, food, and clothes.

Although my first concern and need is to provide our primary needs, the worsening of the situation led me to also ask for help for a possible evacuation. In Gaza, the situation is desperate and although it is a very painful decision, for the sake of my daughter, if we could get the necessary amount of money, we would go away and try to start a new life. Please, if you can help me and my daughter with a donation, even a small one is important and can help us survive. If you can’t donate, please share my story and help me reach other people.
