Support for Ed Keates' family

Donation protected
Like so many other families, Christmas morning for the Keates' always brimmed with love, happiness and fun; It was a cheerful time for Cassie and Eddie Jr. to make memories and spend time with their doting father, Ed. This year, however, their holiday was unimaginably different: This Christmas morning marked the end of Ed Keates' arduous nine year battle with colorectal and metastatic cancer.

Suffice to say, Ed's painstaking battle transcended the lives of the many, many people who loved him - and his unbearable loss was felt by all.

Throughout the last near-decade, Ed devoted as much of his declining energy as possible to creating amazing, lasting memories for his family to forever cherish and remember him by - which speaks to the wonderful father and husband he was known to be. Unfortunately, his final years were also rife with debilitating physical struggles, the emotional hardships of which Sheri and the kids faithfully endured along with him.

To make these matters more unfortunate, in recent years Ed was unable to continue his lifelong work as an independent contractor due to the worsening of his condition and subsequent chemo/radiation therapies. These limitations prevented Ed from leaving his family with any means of financial support after his passing, creating an uncertain, daunting reality for his grieving wife and children.

While tending to her own heartache and grief following Ed's death - as well as that of Eddie Jr. and Cassie - Sheri is now also burdened with financial worry and doubt concerning her family's future. It is for this reason that we have set up a GoFundMe campaign: To help alleviate the critical monetary issues that the Keates family is now faced with, and offering them some much needed support in their time of absolute loss.

The funds that Sheri and the kids receive will be allocated towards everyday living essentials, as well as planning for the children's future. These expenses include maintaining the household (monthly utility bills, groceries, transportation costs, clothing/supplies for the kids, etc.), costs for school/extracurricular activities and trips, a contingency fund for emergencies, and preparing for costs associated with the children's educational futures.

Any contributions able to be made to Sheri, Eddie Jr. and Cassie in the memory of our friend, Ed Keates, would be immensely appreciated. Thank you all so very much in advance for your kindness and consideration.
