Provide Support for Dr. Tatiana's Family

Dr. Tatiana Mouravskaia was an amazing woman -- she dedicated her life to others, and gave of herself freely and expecting nothing in return.

As a physician, nothing mattered to her more than her patients' health. She would work long hours, often without billing, often for men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds who had no one else to fight and avocate for them. She would use every trick she learned over her 30-year career to make sure that they were able to get the care they needed in a system where few cared about their outcomes. It didn't endear her to hospital administrators, but won her the respect of her colleagues and the people she cared for.

As a mother, she did the same for her children. Our needs always came first, and she did everything to make sure that we were ok. Up until the very end, she tried her hardest to care for us even as we were trying to care for her. She was our rock and our seawall, protecting all of us from the hardships she faced her entire life and ensuring that we never had to make the same hard choices she did.

She leaves behind her parents, Adeliya and Vladimir Krylov, her four children, Alex, June, Anthony, and Alisa, a whole house of animals she loved, and a legacy of strength, determination, and resilience that gives us all a high bar to live up to.

Donations will be used to cover the remainder of her medical bills and funeral expenses, as well as to provide for care for her disabled son, Anthony, and for education expenses for her daughter, Alisa. She was always, above all else, a practical woman, and would appreciate donations to help her family rather than flowers.
