First and foremost, I would like to express my deep gratitude to each and every one of you for your incredible generosity and unwavering support during this difficult time. Your kindness and solidarity mean the world to me and my family as we face the dangerous situation here. In Deir al-Balah, Gaza, we thank you for standing with us in our time of need.،
I am Jamil from Gaza, I am 23 years old and I lived through the brutal aggression wars and every time I miraculously survived.،
Our homes have been demolished and we now live in tents, without electricity or the basics of life.
The temperature in the tent is different from the temperature anywhere else
Underneath you are very hot sand, and around you are thousands of insects that you have never known before in your life.
The nylon from which the tent is made collects heat and multiplies it, so you find yourself inside a melting tank.
And the little water you get is barely hot, so there's no way to cool down your smoking body.
All means of cooling are not available, there is no electricity, no motors, and no electricity to operate the fans.
Despite all this torment, there are daily tasks that must be accomplished: oven lines, salt water lines, fresh water lines, bathroom lines, lighting a fire, preparing food, dough, jelly, washing, arranging...
How can we do all this while we are in the tent?We are counting on you to escape this torment and save our lives.،
I also lost my friend to cancer as a result of the closure of the Rafah crossing and the lack of medicine.
Life was not perfect before the war, but I always said that we might live an abnormal life and might die a natural death. Now, we cannot live or die normally!
I contacted many refugee agencies in many countries to help me get humanitarian asylum during the war, but all countries refused because their laws do not grant asylum to asylum seekers outside their country's borders. Reaching countries that grant asylum requires a large sum of money that I cannot afford, unless you help me and my family. There is a large sum of money that we must save to get out of Gaza to the Rafah crossing that connects Gaza to Egypt, and there are also the costs of traveling from Gaza to Egypt, in addition to the costs of staying for a period in Egypt to provide the necessary medicines and clothes for our temporary residence, until we can arrange our affairs and then go to a place where we can find safety for our children.،
The occupation destroyed my car, which I could not leave with due to the fuel shortage caused by the aggression. The occupation demolished my home and my car, which was a source of income for our daily sustenance and our livelihood. I worked very hard to buy my car. I worked day and night to meet the needs of my family and to treat my father who was bedridden. I hope you will help me in compensating me for my beautiful car that the occupation destroyed. All that is left for me is ashes. I hope that you will compensate me instead. I explained to you my tragedy in the tent and in leaving Gaza and what happened to me from the destruction of my home and car. I am very sad. I lost all my close friends. The occupation took my friends from me. My dreams were destroyed due to the bombing and occupation. Please extend a helping hand to me because I deserve it very much. I hope that you will see with your own eyes what happened to me. I hope with all meanings of hope that you will help me and help my family. We live a tragic life. I also have a married sister who lives with us and has a beautiful child who was wronged by the occupation to live in safety and deprived of his most basic rights. I cannot provide for her child’s needs of milk and diapers due to the high And the high prices after the war on us, save us from living in humiliation and living with dignity. I want to live safely, me and my family. I hope for your help very much. I have full hope in you and your generous giving. Please help with your generous and giving hand. You have my sincere gratitude and thanks.
