Support NIL Education for HBCU Athletes

Donation protected
We believe that education and awareness form the cornerstone of success for student-athletes in the new NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) landscape. We are therefore excited to introduce the Inside the NIL: HBCU Educational Summit, designed to equip HBCU student-athletes and athletic department staff with the knowledge and connections to maximize their NIL opportunities.

Objective

Our event aims to provide in-depth education on NIL opportunities and facilitate invaluable networking with industry experts and potential brand partners. The objective is to help HBCU student-athletes understand NIL rules and regulations, learn best practices for monetizing their name, image, and likeness, and acquire the skills to effectively manage their personal brands.

Approach

This one-day event will feature insightful panel sessions addressing key areas such as student rights, financial management, brand building, social media management, negotiation skills, legal considerations, and more. We also have a sports business expo planned where businesses and brands can connect directly with student-athletes to discuss NIL partnerships and career internships.

Your Donation

We recognize the budgetary concerns facing HBCUs, and we need your support to sustain and offer our program to HBCUs across the country. Your donations help to supplement the cost to bring Inside The NIL: HBCU Educational Summit to HBCU campuses across the country.

With three tiers of participation, HBCUs can select the most suitable level of engagement for their institution:

Virtual Summit: An online summit covering a wide range of essential topics.

Physical Summit: An in-person summit with comprehensive panel sessions on all aspects of NIL.

Physical Summit + Sports Business Expo: The in-person summit and sports business expo for enhanced networking opportunities.

This event provides an opportunity to invest in HBCU athletes’ future, helping them understand and capitalize on their NIL rights. Not only will this equip HBCU student-athletes with valuable skills and knowledge, but it will also help HBCUs stand out as progressive leaders in the NIL ecosystem.
