Provide reasonable safe food and shelter
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ellen. I am a volunteer at the Cascade Pacific Animal Rescue. While we do in fact rescue, facilitate, (and rehome when appropriate), we also have an annual community animal therapy garden. The garden is open during the plant and harvest season to provide hands on calming interactions for our community. Food grown in the garden feeds homeless shelters, families in the community directly in need of fresh food, and even our vast array of rescue animals. These are the projects I am seeking 5,000 in funding for. To view a bit about the rescue please visit [email redacted] or email them at [email redacted] we are a licensed charitable organization with the Washington Secretary of State, Department of Revenue, current resellers permit for auctions and sales, and a filed but pending 501c3 status (it seem that status has a long wait being we filed 3 months ago)
The rescue also graciously accepts the following in kind donations: Dog and cat feed, waterfowl feed, animal safe pond maintenance supplies, hay, straw, wood shavings for bedding, garden supplies such as plants, tools, lumber for beds, hardware cloth, marketing or grant writing skills, fencing supplies, farm tools (a tractor would speed up all projects by 200% productivity. We currently have no heavy machinery but one day we will find what we need for the right price.
