Provide Relief for Ed's Loving Family Today
Donation protected
Eduardo O. Yao, Jr., lovingly nicknamed Jon Jon, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2024, at 40 years old. Ed was vibrant, joyful, kind, and gentle to his niece and nephews and extended family; loving and supportive of his sisters; generous and funny with friends; and closely connected with his mother, with whom he lived at the time of his passing. He loved gaming with his friends and spending time with his family in equal measure. His smile lit up every room he graced; his warmth blessed all who were lucky enough to know him.
Ed's death comes not long after his father's and mere weeks after his grandfather's, leaving his mom Mirna and sisters Jennifer and Michelle reeling from this sudden and as yet inexplicable loss. In addition to relocating Mirna to a new residence and all the costs associated with the investigation of his death, Mirna, Jennifer, and Michelle must now cover the exorbitant expenses of Ed's postmortem care and interment services on their own. Ed did not have life insurance to help assuage these costs.
Contributing to this fund will help relieve the intense pressure and pain that Ed's survivors now feel. On behalf of Mirna, Jennifer, and Michelle, I ask that you donate what you can now so that these three women can properly mourn the loss of their dear son and brother--as well as the recent losses of their father/husband and father/grandfather--and begin to acclimate to life without him.
It will be a great gift to Mirna, Jennifer, and Michelle--caregivers of and cherished friends to so many of us--if we take care of this burden of debt for them.
May we remember Jon Jon's giant love and light in life and pray that we may meet again.
