Little Bink Rescue is a family-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Upstate New York, with a mission to rescue dogs in need. While we typically focus on dogs from hospice care, local outreach, and Southern kill shelters, we are now prioritizing the crisis caused by the devastating wildfires in California.
As shelters across California are overwhelmed by displaced dogs, the daily euthanasia rate is rising due to overcrowding. To help, we’re working to transport as many dogs as possible to our rescue in Upstate New York, where they can receive the medical care, comfort, and second chances they deserve. By relocating these dogs, we aim to free up space in California shelters for incoming dogs and provide a safe haven for those in desperate need.
What We Need to Do:
- Transport Costs: We need funds to cover transportation expenses, including transporters, vehicle fees, gas, and tolls, to safely bring the dogs to Upstate New York.
- Medical Care & Supplies: Each dog requires medical care, vaccinations, and health checks before traveling. Additionally, we need food, shelter, and basic supplies to ensure the dogs’ well-being during transport and after their arrival.
- Temporary Housing: Our Upstate New York rescue space can accommodate these dogs until they find permanent homes. Your support will help provide the necessary resources for their care during this transition.
