Provide Stable Housing for Arianna & Her Daughter By May 1st

edit: I’m not sure why it automatically set a different goal amount, but my original goal was $2,000. I didn’t realize I could undo that.

Hello,

I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but I’ve learned that sometimes, we all need support.

I am reaching out because I am in an urgent situation. I am currently homeless, and the only thing standing between me and reunification with my daughter is stable housing. After fighting tirelessly in court, I was granted 50/50 custody starting in February 2024. However, my daughter’s father has not honored this, and despite multiple contempt violations, I am still struggling to see her as I should.

A few weeks ago, I found an apartment that felt like my fresh start. The property manager initially assured me she would work with me, knowing my situation. I hustled to save the deposit, believing I was finally on my way to stability. However, right after I had done an amazing job representing myself in court, I received devastating news—I was denied the apartment.

Despite this setback, I am still doing everything I can to get on my feet. I recently started a part-time job (they won’t let me work full-time until I have finished training), and I am working hard to save money. I am also in recovery and have remained committed to my sobriety since September 2016. (Let me clarify because I’m being accused of lying. I have no reason to lie. Because it says I had a mishap in my letter as you can see attached. Yes, I had a relapse the first time since 2016 with drugs in December.)
I’ve been attending therapy and weekly drug testing to ensure I stay on the right path. I am fully committed to building a stable, healthy future for my daughter and myself.

I am seeking assistance—whether it be financial help towards securing an apartment, resources for housing programs, job leads, or even just prayers for guidance and strength. I know I can turn my life around if given the chance. I am willing to work for it. I simply need a stable home to make it happen.
I have a little bit of money saved but I need an apartment by May 1st. I don’t even care if it’s a studio apartment. I will make it a perfect little home for me & my baby girl. It doesn’t matter how big it is. What matters is it will be ours. Our home.

So far I have $600 saved. I need $1,400 more.
I feel like this is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. But at the same time, I don’t care because that is just how important this is to me. & most importantly, I’m on a time crunch.

If you or your church (I’ve heard that is a possibility, I have no idea what I’m doing lol) can assist in any way, please reach out to me. Any support, whether financial, connections, or simply words of encouragement, would mean the world to me. And if you are unable to help directly, please keep me in your prayers.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any help you can offer.

God Bless,

Arianna

*I will also have attached as pictures the letter I read in family court this week & the messages between myself & the apartment management that I was supposed to secure a home with.
