Providing Financial Help to the Borgen Family

This fundraiser is being set up to help the Borgen family cover expenses during a very difficult time. Derek Borgen has been suffering from a variety of health issues over the past 8 months. He endured a lengthy hospital stay following a stroke last year. Just recently, he was readmitted for open heart surgery. He is currently still in the intensive care unit. The Borgens are an extremely generous and loving family who help their community in innumerable ways. Trish is trying to keep up with her full-time teaching job, tutoring, and parenting all while being there to support Derek through his recovery. Derek is unable to work as he tries to get well. This has put an enormous strain on the family as they are reduced to one income at the same time that medical bills are accumulating rapidly.
