Providing Shelter for the my grandchildren.

It's been said, "the hardest thing to do in life, is to ask for help." I totally understand that and have now decided to humble myself and ask for help.  Isn't it true that "pride goes before the fall?" I was too prideful and ashamed to ask for help from my, and now I've gotten our family in a financial crisis and we could become homeless in a few months because of late mortgage payments.

I admit I'm not  good at balancing a budget, but I usually am able to keep all the creditors happy. Since my diagnosis of mythasthia gravis in 2017, I've had to depend on Social Security Disability, which is nothing compared to my what my business income was from providing care for children. And of course, I must pay for Medicare, which lowers my income even more. My husband and I depend mostly on his income to survive.

Most recently, due to a job loss, my son, daughter-in-law and four children have joined our household. My thoughts, in regards to what their needs were that were the most pressing, I chose to provide food, electricity, gas, water, etc. and would let the mortgage payment slide and try and catch up the next month. But I just couldn't get caught up.

Well, like any financier, the bank wants their client to uphold their end of the deal and bring their account current. It is that time for us. Trouble is, we've been given a time frame to make the loan current and unfortunately I don't see how we can obtain the full amount by December 26th. We may be able to come close, but most likely will fall short of the total amount due by the 26th.

Yes, I am working with the bank to find a solution, but so far we have not been able to resolve the issue. We weren't approved for a loan modification. We weren't approved for a forebarnce, because we've not suffered a loss of income in the last 6 months. We were denied a repayment plan, because we couldn't afford a higher payment. ?????  So that leaves us with little or no options.

So, with much disappointment in myself, I'm wondering if anyone would donate to our hardship and help us get the loan current on our home.

I have listed my goal at $3500. Do I expect to receive the total amount? No, but at this point, any and every amount raised will be applied to helping us reach our goal of getting current on our mortgage and not risking foreclosure.

It has always been extremely difficult for me to ask for help of any kind, but I am now humbling myself and asking for help. It grieves me so deeply that  my grandchildren  might be homeless in a few months. My heart is breaking that my failure to keep up with the mortgage payment or to ask for help, may unintentionally bring harm to them.

My gratitude towards anyone that can help us, even in the tiniest amount, will be enormous. If you are unable to offer a donation of money, would you please offer up prayers that we might receive a blessing from our Father in heaven?

Thank you ever so much for reading my story.
