Puerto Rico Satellite Communication
Donation protected
Hi Folks
We are a team of contractors, solar power experts and construction workers who are working to bring communication to Puerto Rico. Our goal is to open communications via solar and satellite so that people can reach their loved ones.
We are asking for donations to help fund the purchase of the necessary equipment and to offset the cost of transporting six solar panel powered battery systems
Hot Purple Energy a California based solar
construction company and a local citizen of the Palm springs area will be taking solar battery chargers and wifi hot spots to Puerto Rico so that family and relatives can contact loved ones and so that necessary communication about resources and availability can reach the people on the island.
The solar battery chargers have been assembled and donated by Hot Purple Energy. They are asking for donations for transportation costs of the solar powered charging systems and for 5 of the satellite hotspots. (each hotspot is 859.00 This include one month of unlimeted text and data.
One team member is a construction manager for the federal government He will be taking vacation time to assure the equipment is utilized for the best possible use
He is working with FEMA for assistance with coordination of this project. FEMA is assisting Jim Morales in providing the transportation for the equipment to Puerto Rico If you have love ones in Puerto Rico and donate, every effort will be made for them to use this service. A facebook account will be set up soon.
