Prusten Foo Fighters

Hi. Prusten Foo is my 7 year old Neapolitan Mastiff and he was diagnosed in March 2022 with Osteosarcoma. He was given 2-4 months to live. Here we are in October 2022 and he is still going strong. Prusten is receiving the best medical care possible, and while I can't say he is beating cancer- he is definitely fighting hard. He is 100% living his best life and he has no idea how sick he is. The most expensive bit right now is his Chemo- Palladia. It's an at-home oral Chemo that he gets 3 days per week. it costs over 1300 per month. It's helping him. At yesterday's check-up the mets in his lungs had shrunken after just 3 months on the Palladia. The largest went from 5cm to 3cm since August. He is seeing the oncology team at Upstate Veterinary Specialists. On top of the Palladia, Prusten has received IV chemo there, and a treatment called Zolendronate that helps strengthen his bones. Prusten is also getting Palliative radiation treatment that we take him to Canada for. He is going again November 3rd. Osteosarcoma is an EXTREMELY painful cancer, and the radiation is absolutely the number 1 thing that has helped his pain level. We actually didn't realize how much he was hurting until he had radiation. It 100% gave us our baby back. It is over 1000 per treatment. Prusten also sees a holistic Vet at least monthly who does acupuncture and chiropractic care for him. I can't even tell you how much I HATE to ask for help with this. It's really becoming a strain to handle this expense, and I am not willing to give him anything less than the best possible care. All funds will go straight to his vet bills, and if there happens to be any leftover we will donate it to another canine cancer friend in need. Any bit is so appreciated.
