VFD URGENTLY needs your help to raise £24,500 before the end of January.

We had been paying our rent in instalments and now we must pay in advance.

Our queer not-for-profit business is viable and we have successfully navigated the effects of gentrification, Covid, and the current cost of living crisis. But we are unable to cover this large financial outlay in such a short time.

VFD is an independently led QTBIPOC arts venue. Our objective is to improve the well-being of the community. We prioritise Femme and Intersectional programming.

After 16 years of serving the community the original safer queer space of Dalston

needs your help.

Your donations will allow us to pay a year of rent on our new space next door at 64.

Our plans at 64 include -

The installation of an accessible bathroom and kitchen (funding pending)

The offering of free legal advice and monthly surgeries.

Building a Queer Family community.

Supporting Queer Artist's mental health with group CBT therapy.

Regular Queer life drawing classes.

Supporting Queer workshops and WIP.

Being a home to Queer Pasfika 'Inter*Is*land Collective'.

Sharing stories of marginalised peoples in our 'Outsiders Gallery'.

A work-in-progress programme for artists.

Continue with our Queer Fashion, Gourmet and Arts Pop-Ups.

We are in the process of confirming the hosting of Queer AA and NA groups.
