PSA Hurricane Relief Effort
Donation protected
Dear Friends & Family,
We would like to start by saying thank you to each and every single one of you that reached out in eagerness to support us during this time. Although CNN has sadly reported over 800 deaths (as of now), in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, we are grateful that we have not been informed of loss of life. It is with a heavy heart that Project St. Anne learned and observed the recent events that took place in our beloved Haiti on Monday, October 3rd. The category 4 Hurricane Matthew obliterated Camp-Perrin, and its surroundings. This resulted in the crippling of our infrastructure. As of now it has been reported that approximately 90-95% of all homes/ schools/ hospitals/ religious establishments/ offices/ crops/ livelihood have been destroyed, and beyond repair. The community of Camp-Perrin NEEDS us and we NEED you.
Since 2008 Project St. Anne has committed themselves to advocating for the less fortunate by creating educational opportunities for 140 children, annual community meals for 1500 men/ women/ children, in addition to providing holiday gifts and support to over 700 families. NOW they need us more than ever.
The NEED is GREAT. The TASK is MONUMENTAL. The URGENCY Is NOW.
We need your support to address the basic needs of 140 sponsored children in our education program, their families, as well as the community of Camp-Perrin.
Your contribution will help to assist with phase 1 of our disaster relief efforts. Our goal is to meet the vital needs of the community by providing the following:
· Hot Meals
· Non Perishable Foods
· Water Bottles
· Purifying water tablets
· Medical Supplies
· Hygiene Kits
· Clothing
· Flashlights + batteries
· Solar Powered Lamps
· Baby goods
· Feminine Products
· Temporary Bedding
· Salvaging of Temporary Shelter
. Metal Sheets for Roofing
Project St. Anne is even more convinced of the reason why our project earned its name. Help us to rebuild the legacy of Camp-Perrin and its Patron Saint.
We NEED your support. PLEASE DONATE WHAT YOU CAN.
Thank you for helping Project St. Anne rebuild and bring life back to the community of Camp Perrin, Haiti. Once we have addressed the fundamental needs of the community, Project St. Anne will continue to assess the needs for full restoration of the community.
