Aid Sarah Thornbury's Journey to Kidney Health

Our precious friend, Sarah Thornbury, is being treated at UMMC in Jackson, MS for her transplant kidney in rejection. This kidney, along with her pancreas, were transplanted ten years ago, and her body has not had any trouble in the past with rejection or any other problems. Sarah was at her annual checkup last week, and found out her kidney was 30% damaged in some areas while 60% damaged in other areas.

She has been treated this week and will continue treatment into the next week-2 weeks with IV steroids, anti-rejection medications, and plasmapheresis (taking the bad antibodies out and replacing them with new ones that won't fight against the kidney). We are praying these treatments are all that she will need to repair the damage and bring the kidney out of rejection. They have 3 kids and will be back and forth between Fairhope, AL and Jackson, MS until things can get resolved. Any amount you feel led to contribute will help and support this family as they walk through this trusting the Lord in His faithful sovereignty over her life.
