Pat Streeter Memorial Fund
In addition to being very generous to her family, extended family, friends, and neighbors, Pat also loved donating through Heifer International and World Vision. Sadly, on May 25th, 2019 she passed on.
However, her spirit lives on in so many ways. This project will carry on and allow her grandchildren to continue living her giving spirit. Every Christmas, family donations and proceeds from Pat's famous dip mix sales would be combined, and Bank of America would match the donation.
After Christmas, Pat and the Grandchildren would look at the donation choices and pick out various animals and other gifts for those in third world countries. Perhaps a goat for milk, an ox to plow fields, or school supplies and soccer balls. And always a llama, in memory of our close family friend, Susie.
When asked why we wouldn't support a family in the US, Pat simply quipped, "In the US, kids at least have something... These families have nothing." Well said!
This was her way of giving to the world, and with your help we can keep her spirit alive yet one more way.
The family will update totals here after the memorial, and then again before Christmas 2019, as final donations roll in. We'll post a list of animals and other gifts that the grandchildren decide Pat would want to give to those who "have nothing."
