Hi parent and faculty, welcome our 2023-2024 PS/MS 124 PTA Board:

Our mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The PS/MS 124Q PTA is working to create a strong community for our children. The PTA raises money to fund events and special programs at the school. Last year, the PTA funded the Kindergarten graduation ceremony, the Kindergarten trip to the Science Museum, the Fall Festival and the Spring Carnival. This was only made possible due to the support of the parents and staff who generously paid PTA dues as well as those who participated in other PTA fundraisers. Please help the PTA continue to be able to fund programs and events for our students and school community by paying PTA dues.

What fundraising is used for:

You can be a powerful voice for our children and an advocate for public education by supporting our PTA. Your gift will strengthen family and community engagement in our school, elevate the voices of families in critical child advocacy work and support programs that improve student outcomes. Many of these events will be planned, and we would love your participation during the events as well.

• It is our responsibility as parents to pay PTA dues.

o $10 per child

o $20 if you have 2+ children attending our school

All Parents will be receiving a letter in your child’s folder on how to pay your dues and we will also be collecting due at Back to School Night on 9/14/2023 from 5-8pm. You will be able to pay via cash or electronically during Back to School Night.
