Help James Fight Cancer

Hello to all our friends, family, and well-wishers. After 8 weeks of stomach pain, nausea, dehydration, and the loss of 34 pounds, my brother-in-law, James, was finally admitted to Advent Health Hospital in Orlando, Florida. On Friday, July 12, the doctors confirmed our worst fear, James has Esophageal/Stomach Cancer.

Treatment for this type of cancer will begin with chemotherapy for several months to shrink the tumor. Once the tumor becomes small enough, the medical team will perform an extensive surgery on Janes’ stomach to remove the remaining cancerous cells which will require removal of his stomach due to the location of the tumor. This treatment plan will be a lengthy process.

As you can imagine, James will be unable to continue his work as a self-employed Landscaper. Because of his illness, James will not be able to keep his landscaping business causing him to have no income while he is receiving treatment for the next 6 months. All donations will go to living expenses and medical bills. Anyone who knows James, knows that he is a kind and loving person and will do anything for his friends and family. He needs our help now.
