Hello, we are a registered Non-Profit that is here to spread the Psychedelic Renaissance in Atlantic Canada.
We want to change laws and bring people together.
Originally formed in 2017 as the Halifax Psychedelic Society, the Nova Scotia Psychedelic Society (NSPS) brings together trained medical professionals and grassroots activists with the shared vision of expanding access to Psychedelics safely and legally.
By supporting NSPS you help us:
- Advocate for decriminalization and safe access.
- Build a community based on harm reduction, care and non-judgement.
- Host conferences, like the 'Drug Use Symposium' we hosted at Dalhousie University in 2019
- Educate institutions like public schools, hospitals, Police and RCMP who are not using modern, fact-based information when teaching and responding to drug-related issues.
- Provide subsidized services for those experiencing barriers to access.
- Pay for the expenses incurred by an effective and active Non-Profit.
- Much, much more.

$40,000 represents our budget for the year. With this money, we can:
- Book venues for events
- Formally advocate for policy change
- Create digital content like a podcast for Atlantic Canadians
- Offer services like integration circles
- Subsidize services for those in need
- Hire a 'Community Coordinator' part-time
- Provide essential training to staff & volunteers like Mental Health First Aid & Suicide Prevention.
- After raising our budget we will offer formal membership!
