My family home burned down

My family house burned down today. We lost everything in the fire and need help going forward. Any donation will help tremendously.

Ever since the fire we have had everyone in our community come together and take care of us in every way. Our neighbors and friends have already replaced so many of the things we’ve lost, provided us a place to stay as long as we need to, gotten us food, shoes, clothes, gift cards and literally everything else we need right now.

That said, we would love to pay it forward to other folks who are in need right now ahead of the holidays. Since my family and I are completely taken care of now, we plan on transferring funds raised here to the GoFundMe.org Essentials Fund. The Essentials Fund directly helps hundreds of people across the country access essentials, like finding a hot meal, a safe place to sleep, or utilities.

The funds will be divided between different qualifying recipients, which means that your donation now helps different individuals, families, and whole communities.
