Ptosis Repair Surgery for Baby Sage

Hello friends,

I started this campaign because my sweet 13 month old daughter Sage is in need of surgery asap to correct her congenital ptosis (droopy eyelid). She is a very healthy and happy little girl, however her ptosis is quite severe, so it affects her vision and could actually create permanent vision impairment if we don't go ahead with the surgery soon.

I have done extensive research on this topic, and have found that the best surgery for Sage (that has the highest success rate) isn't offered here in Canada. The surgeon who pioneered this advanced technique is a Spanish surgeon, and I’m hoping to bring Sage to see him for the surgery. The main issue is that I need to travel to another country to get this surgery done and need to pay for it in full, and we simply don't have the funds for it right now. Of course traveling during Covid times is extra challenging, but I will do what I must to ensure my baby gets the best treatment.
