PTSA of PS94 Membership Drive

On behalf of the Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA) at our school, welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We know that these past few months have been difficult for so many in our community and around the world.
We hope that you are finding ways to stay healthy and to remain connected with loved ones.
This year, we expect the total PTSA budget to be approximately $25,000. 100% of these funds directly support our children! One way we raise these funds is through this Membership Drive where we ask parents to make a monetary donation to the PTSA. (Note - your donation to the PTSA Membership Drive is net the 2.9% processing fees charged.) Here are some examples of what your donations to the PTSA will support this year for our kids:
Virtual Assemblies and Virtual Field Trips – These programs will introduce students to role models in our community and will bring variation and creativity to their virtual learning this year.
Special Projects – These include supplies for science experiments, fees for the Smart Boards in each classroom, teacher appreciation, and possibly the beloved musical theater program, if it is feasible in the spring.
General School Support – Each year, the PTSA makes a $5,000 donation to the school to use at their discretion to support our students’ academic, social and emotional growth.
Thank you for considering a donation to the PTSA for our kids. We know that COVID-19 has impacted many families in our community through loss of work or other changing circumstances. Regardless of your ability to contribute to this drive, you are a member of the PTSA and we value your voice!
If you are unable to contribute any of the levels below, please donate any amount you can.
Make a donation to the PTSA:
- $50 – Student’s Circle
- $75 – Teacher’s Circle
- $100 – Principal’s Circle (Includes one PS 94 T-shirt!)
Our Membership Drive will close on Friday, October 23rd.
Whether you are a working parent, a stay-at-home parent, or somewhere in between, there are opportunities for all of us to be involved in our child’s education.
