Help my Dad on his road to recovery

Our Dads story
On the 16th of February I was at work it was what I believed to be a normal day.
At 11:50am I had a call from my mum I could tell in her voice something was wrong, my mum suffers with epilepsy so I assumed it would be that, but no she kept saying “it’s dad it’s dad” I immediately ran out of work to meet my mum at home she told me that she has no idea what’s happened but we know he’s had a fall, we got in my car and drove to an address in Hemel Hempstead, where my dad was working that day, the whole hour and 45 minutes I was in complete denial, just kept thinking that at the worst he would’ve broken his legs.
We get to the site and my mum and I ran up and down every staircase to try and find him, finally we saw his work colleague he was shaking, crying, in complete shock, he told us it wasn’t good.
I ran through the door to see 5 police cars, 2 ambulance, on site doctors, air ambulance. The police rightly so couldn’t tell us any information, we were still non the wiser. They wrote down an address and told us that’s the hospital he was being taken to. Back in the car we got and drove another hour to Paddington St Mary’s hospital. When we got to Paddington the nurses, doctors and consultants were very supportive and understood we still have no idea what’s happening or happened. We were made to sit in this family waiting room, when a doctor came in to tell us that my dad has had an extreme fall of 60 feet and that he’s been put into an induced coma after being resuscitated numerous times, at that moment I immediately felt as though I had lost my best friend, my hero, my dad. We were taken into a room to see him, we spoke to him told him how much we missed him, how he is so loved, how I just want one of his hugs.
He was in a coma for 2 and a half weeks, my mum and I along with other family members went up to see him travelling from Essex to London. Whilst he was in a coma he had surgery to readjust his spine after this surgery we were told he had around 48 hours to live, due to so many different complications in the surgery and the amount of injuries he has suffered from (broken back at level T12 L1 L5, broken ribs on the whole of his left side, cracked sternum, fractured skull, both lungs collapsed, ligament damage in his back)this felt as though it was never ending, but like I believed he would fight! he fought for us, Me, my mum and my 2 younger sisters. And he is still fighting today and will continue to fight!
But we need help from kind hearted people who donate, I belive there is no such thing as a small donation, because so many small donations could help my dad to have a life changing injection alongside adjustments to our home so my dad is still able to come in mine and my sisters rooms and wish us a goodnight like he has always done.
A message from My dad about his road to recovery.
Road to recovery My road to standing and walking again is going to be a long road. I need specialist medical care and therapy to even give me a fighting chance. The cost of the treatments I’m going to require to give me the best chance of walking again is going to come at a significant cost and me and my family simply will not manage all of them alone plus obviously everything else on top of that. I need access to the best therapies such as electrical stimulation to the spinal cord or stem cell injections that maybe help rebuild the damage to my spinal cord. And with daily rehab focused on standing, stepping and walking, I may regain the strength to support my weight. These treatments offer me the best chance of recovery and live a life with my family that my 3 daughters deserve from me.
