Public EV charging ABQ to Carlsbad, NM
Donation protected
We are seeking donations to help fund an electric vehicle charging network that will allow EV travel in South East New Mexico. The funds will be used for the purchase and installation of L2 charging at host sites such as restaurants, shops and other points of interest. This may be as simple and inexpensive as a 50A plug EV travelers can use by carrying a mobile connector.
I am the co-owner of a solar PV installation company. We realized that our licensed and skilled employees can help improve local charging infrastructure between solar projects. We plan to perform these installations 'at cost'; Our first installation was a bit more expensive (~$4500) than had been hoped due to the need to construct an independent service drop. However this installation will provide faster charging and the ability to expand.
Donation Funded Locations; Thank you to all the donors and McDonalds operator Snowberger Enterprises for hosting.
