Publish my Nonfiction Novel AS SHE RECOVERS

Hi, my name is Angela Shepherd and I am fundraising for the publication of my Narrative Nonfiction Novel, AS SHE RECOVERS. My passion project is dedicated to the story of a healing house where the courage to change restored countless lives. "She" takes you along her journey where you will experience intertwining layered stories of women recovering through the magic of connection.

Patients in the program would say, “There is magic in the walls here”. The magic was in the authentic connections they made with each other, with the staff, the community support, and their families.

For over 25 years I was blessed to lead and serve alongside these brave souls. The program closed in 2021, but the legacy of the women, mothers, babies, staff, and community supporters deserves to be shared with the world.

I have worked with an editor on multiple revisions of AS SHE RECOVERS, and have received glowing feedback from anonymous beta readers:
