Publish "Open markets" in English

In 2021 my book "Hjälpas åt" (roughly meaning "working together") was published in Swedish. It explains how markets help people work together. It discusses international trade, aid, China, inequality, innovations, the climate, work, leisure, soft drinks, and economic freedom. And many other things.

It has beautiful illustrations by Ola Skogäng and lots of references to published research (safely tucked away towards the end). Most of the topics have been covered before, but not in the entertaining and accessible manner made possible by the graphic format.

Now, I hope to publish the book in English and make it available on Amazon. The translation is done. Ola is eager to get to work.

 

But I have not approached the big publishing houses with agents, sample pages and "personal" letters. Instead, I contacted a small Swedish publisher (Idealistas) and will pay for the production using - you guessed it - crowdfunding.

 

Trust me, life as a comic book character is great!
