Publishing of Red Man's Words
Donation protected
Born in the lands of Oklahoma and raised in traditional Kiowa ways, Tim Redbird grew up in the house of a medicine man, Whitefox. His parents were two of the greatest singers which would influence Tim in his singing and songwriting. In 1975, Tim started the journey of writing his book, “Red Man’s Words”, he quit drinking alcohol and started writing poetry. Through the survival of his first draft, he kept writing the true stories of Native people. This fundraiser intends to raise funds for publishing and spreading awareness of native traditional values taught by the elders to maintain our native traditions and wisdom. This book reflects Native life for all Native people who experience the same things, full of literature, poetry, art, and history. With your help, this book will be able to keep native voices alive. Your donation will help to print, publish, and get the books in school libraries. Nothing is too much or too little; anything helps to achieve this goal. Thank you for your time and for believing in this cause.
