Pug Hollow Sanctuary Hospice Fund
Donation protected
Pug Hollow Sanctuary is a non-profit canine hospice providing end of life care for elderly and terminally ill dogs. We also occasionally provide care for dogs who have been so emotionally damaged that they could not survive in a "normal" household.
We currently have 30 small dogs in residence at the sanctuary and while we cover the cost of dog food from our personal salaries, we are dependant on donations to help us shoulder the sometimes massive cost of vet care for the dogs.
And we are struggling right now.
Our largest fundraising event of the year flopped in 2014. What has historically been a fun, profitable event was ruined by the greed of the venue and their event coordinator.
Starting in November of 2014, we have had a series of emergency vet bills that have drained what little veterinary funding we had left, and forced us to relive our college days of ramen noodles and canned ravioli in order to provide the care our old dogs need. Those vet bills alone total over $1600 and we are still paying our veterinarian for the last of them.
That number does not take into account routine care such as medications, vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and flea and tick chemicals.
We desperately need your help. Please. We can't do this without your donations. Even a small amount will help us more than you could even know.
