Pulling for the Homie! - Denton Ward Support Fund
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
As you may know, Denton was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last week and is digging in for a tough battle, starting today, with his first chemo treatments. It's tough for me to type this out. Denton has been a great friend of mine for over twenty years, and I'm very grateful to know him, and the rest of the Wards. If you know them as well, I am sure you understand.
Aside from being effortlessly cool, a great dad to three daughters, and a Marine Corps veteran of the war in Iraq, he's the kind of guy who is nice when he doesn't have to be - to everybody.
I spoke to him for a while yesterday and was happy to learn that his medical expenses are taken care of. However, he also shared that he was told to expect to be out of work for at least a year.
There are systems in place to help people in his situation, but they are inadequate and will not cover the basics of the budget for a father of three, let alone the increased expenses he and the family will have as they manage this together.
For these reasons, and with his permission, I am asking you to make any contribution you can to help Denton out as he goes through this process.
You may donate via this GoFundMe, or via Venmo using Denton's handle - @djdent83
Let's pull together to make a tough time for good people a bit easier! Thank you!
