Pumbas purdue surgery
Donation protected
Saturday evening Pumba had his dinner and went to bed as normal. Sunday morning he wasn't awaiting for breakfast and to go outside to go potty. He slowly walked outside, uninterested in his breakfast or any of his favorite snacks like bananas and carrots. We contacted purdue, and with us being so close decided to monitor him at home. We tried pedilyte, medicine, and Apple juice. Uninterested in everything. By Monday he still wasn't acting right and we decided to bring him into the vet. He still had a fever, but blood work and xray showed nothing. Tuesday his fever was the highest its been of 106.5. They're now doing a surgery to see if anything is causing issues in his GI tract and intestines. We were denied for care credit card, sadly. Pumba is only 3 years old, and pigs live around 20 years old, so he has a chance to a happy healthy pig life.
