Pumps for Kids with Diabetes
Donation protected
The Rotary Club of Townsville Central (RCTC) is raising funds to purchase Insulin Pumps to go towards families in need with young children diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The current serving President Enzo Craperi is well versed in the difficulties children and families face, as his now adult daughter has lived all her life managing this condition.
In partnership with the Townsville University Hospital Diabetic Clinic, and Medtronics, the RCTC is committed to raising funds to gift this product to families in Townsville that are unable to access due to the high cost of the technology. New Insulin Pump Technology is a game changer for children living with Diabetes, as they eliminate the need for constant finer pricks and insulin injections. They monitor blood glucose levels and deliver the required amount of insulin actively.
Please help change a local child's life, and support those in need living with Type 1 Diabetes.
