Punk musical fundraiser

Hi, my name is Tom O'Brien and I am raising money for the premiers of my play, FAIRYTALE OF NEW YORK, which will be performed at the STABLES THEATRE in Hastings East Sussex on Thursday 27the July. Fund are required for rehearsals and all the other costs associated with staging a play.

The play is a musical about the life and times of Shane McGowan of the Pogues.

Shane McGowan and the Pogues all began in the streets and pubs of London’s Kings Cross area, where punks, anarchists, artists and musicians squatted together as a community. The Pogues were a bunch of misfits who blazed a trail to huge success without seemingly trying too hard. Then it all blew up in their faces. This is the story of Shane McGowan’s rise and fall…rise and…

It will be directed by RIGGS O'HARA, a renowned actor/director who has worked in both Londoon's West End theatres and on Broadway.

6 lucky donators will be given copies of the script, which will be signed by the writer, director, and all the musicians and actors. (winners to be drawn by lot after the performance)
