Pup Squad: 15 Years of Saving Puppies & Mommas
Tax deductible
This Giving Tuesday is especially important to Pup Squad. Candidly, it's been a rough year.
The routine expenses of healthy puppies such as vaccinations, deworming, spay or neuter surgery and microchipping, add up. The not-so-routine expenses like torn ACLs, tumors (benign TG) and illnesses, as well as the typical issues often seen in rescue dogs like mange, heartworms, and severe intestinal parasite infestations can stretch the budget.
Also, we stand by our pups - Once a Pup Squad pup, always a Pup Squad pup. Whether a pup's road to adoption is longer than expected, a momma dog needs some training, or an adoption doesn't work out, we are committed to the dogs in our program. With a shortage of fosters (and adopters) these situations can further strain our limited resources.
The fact is, in addition to the changes in the world around us over the last fifteen years, running a 15-year-old puppy rescue looks very different from running a 5-year-old puppy rescue. While we're excited about some future programs we're working on to address these shifts, they'll take some time to bear fruit. So, we are you asking for your help to get over the hump. We owe it to all the dogs in our program today, all the dogs we've rescued in the past and all the dogs we hope to help in the future to keep going.
Can you help us?
Every little bit will make a big difference.
