Puppy x 50! or 55? 60? MORE?

Once again, Out of the Woods is speaking for those who have no voice.
Shown are 22 of the 24 puppies who have presently been accepted into the OOTW program. Three of these litters are safe and in foster care. Tomorrow, Saturday March 11, I, along with another volunteer, Molly, will do our best to capture the 7 babies who are running at large in Glen Rose near a busy highway. We have a foster homes lined up for them, we just need to get our hands on those little critters!
So, with 17 in hand and with a little luck and some treats, 7 more coming tomorrow, Out of the Woods is once again seeking help as puppy and kitten season is upon us and thanks to a very mild winter, we have an earlier-than-usual abundance of babies needing help.
The truly sad part is, we are helping 4 litters while FIVE MORE LITTERS who have asked for help have been placed on hold until we can figure out how OR IF we can help so many puppies all at the same time as that would be over FIFTY OR SIXTY pups ... not including other babies who were already in our program and our general population which runs between 80 - 130 at any one time.
The fact about puppies is, we lose money on every baby we accept into our program. Adoption fee is $150, but vetting is no less than $200 - $250 for each baby. So with just these 24 babies, we are going to go deep in the hole!
If you can donate, please do. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL! All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 Federally Chartered Rescue Organization. ALSO, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OUT OF THE WOODS IS 100% VOLUNTEER OPERATED! WE HAVE NO PAID EMPLOYEES OF ANY KIND AND 100% OF THE MONEY DONATED GOES TO OUR RESCUED ANIMALS!
If you cannot donate, possibly you could foster for OOTW. We provide everything needed! Just visit our website and complete the Fostering Application (www.ootwrescue.org)
I will be posting another update tomorrow after we get back from Glen Rose.
