The Belthorn Academy Minibus

Hello from Belthorn Academy!

We love our school in rural Belthorn, and we aim to support our children, their families and the community in any way that we can.

Every year we take our children on a variety of trips - from sports, to theatre, to religious, to education. We fundraise and organise a variety of fundraising events and initiatives throughout the school year to help pay for these trips.

We have set a goal of raising £10,000 to buy school mini bus. This is the biggest fundraising target we have ever set ourselves so we are really going to need the generosity of our community and beyond to help realise this dream.

Why do we need a school minibus we hear you say?

Having our own minibus will open a whole world of opportunities for our pupils. With a minibus we can take children to sporting competitions, tournaments and other inter-school activities.

It will help us for our educational visits, and will help us give many of our pupils opportunities that they wouldn't otherwise have and we feel very exciting by the possibilities having our own minibus would bring!

We also see this as a key shared resource for our wider community.
