Audrey's Story:

Audrey was born with an extremely rare genetic mutation known as Baker-Gordon syndrome. This condition has resulted in profound cognitive impairement, spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, very low vision, and a range of other medical issues. Despite these hurdles, Audrey's love for life and her family shines brightly.

Audrey lives at home with me, her dedicated mother, and her younger brother, Marc. I also have an older daughter, Camille, who adores Audrey. Audrey's condition requires constant care and attention. She is wheelchair bound and relies on a feeding tube, making mobility and transportation a significant challenge for our family.

The Urgent Need:

For the past 13 years, we had a wheelchair van that allowed Audrey to participate in family outings, school, medical appointments, and various activities. Unfortunately, the van became unsafe to drive due to extensive rusting, rendering it unusable. Audrey has been confined to our home, unable to venture out except for essential school and medical visits. This sudden loss of fredoom has been emotionally devastating for audrey and our entire family.
