Purchase a Seven-Seater Taxi to Educate Children

My name is Gurpal Singh from the UK. I am trying to help raise money to allow a highly poverty-stricken family in India to buy a Taxi 7-seater car so that the father, Jagmohan Singh, can financially support every aspect of his family's needs. That is securing rented accommodation near proper town schooling provisions and educating his three children, and being able to purchase food, clothing and all other requirements for his family. In essence, to become self-sufficient and independent.

It is important to me as the family have two vulnerable children who have been out of the education system for over four years. They live in desperate need of help. Time is running out for Kamaljeet Singh, who is fourteen years old and is a baptised Amritdhari Sikh.

Currently, they live with family in a village with education provisions and no opportunities to earn a livelihood. The home they live in is a temporary sheltered structure that is open to all the raw elements of nature. It is beside a jungle area, including poisonous snakes and scorpions and has no permanent roof, only plastic sheeting. Locally collected wood from the jungle is used for fuel for cooking.

The funds will only be used to buy a seven-seater or mini-van multi-seater vehicle to transport children to and from school and for other taxi work. All receipts and documentary evidence, like photos and videos of the purchase, will be recorded and sent to donors upon request. If for some reason, I cannot reach my goal, then all the raised funds will go towards the education fees and expenditure only for the children.
