Supplies for Roohafza Emami & Peace Kids Artists
Donation protected
To date, Peace Kids to the Rescue Art Show and Silent Auction has raised over $22,000 for several local charities and empowered hundreds of young artists to improve their communities.
This year, in addition to our 6th Annual Peace Kids Art Show, we will be exhibit the work of Roohafza Emami who fled Afghanistan in 2022 with her four children. Trained at the University of Kabul, Roohafza and her family were initially supported by Church World Services' Refugee Resettlement Program. Currently, she raises her children as a single mom and artist. Roohafza also leads art therapy groups for other women who have fled from other countries and settled in Lancaster, PA.
Here are a few other art pieces that will be exhibited in Roohafza's exhibit:
Funds raised in this GoFundMe campaign will be used to purchase frames for Roohafza's exhibit as well as frames for young artists who are not financially able to purchase them. Any leftover money will be used for the myriad of expenses from the show (food, beverages, artist gifts, personnel, etc).
