Purchase bilateral ankle braces for Little Anna

Hello everyone!!! My name is Melisa but my grandkids call me Meemo.

I am the lucky grandmother to 7 amazing human beings!! 5 of them are healthy, happy kids!!! One of them is in Heaven and then there is Little Anna!

Anna has struggled her entire life to do everything! Her first night here on Earth we almost lost her! She has had to work extra hard on the simplest of tasks that every child should be able to do with a bit of ease.

She has never met any of her milestones and has had Early Intervention, physical therapies, occupational therapies and speech therapies her entire life and will most likely need the for a long time to come.

None of this has stopped Little Anna from being a bright, happy, energetic and tenacious child!!! But Anna is really struggling to walk straight and her doctors have determined that she now needs bilateral ankle braces to help her become stronger and walk better! She tends to fall a LOT because of her low muscle tone and this has incurred many injuries to her knees, one of which resulted in a hospitalization this past year!

We are so happy to have finally found someone who believes in Anna as much as we do but the insurance she has will not cover the ankle braces!

This is an unexpected expense that my son, nor I or his family expected this close to the holidays.
