Purchase Masjid Property - Harris Park Musallah

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

We are collecting funds for the purchase of the property where the Harris Park Musallah is currently located (20A Jubilee Lane, Parramatta NSW 2150) or a similar suitable property nearby.

Alhamdulillah, the Musallah has been functional for over 10 years now, conducting 5 daily prayers, Jumuah, Eid Prayers along with talks, learning sessions and activities for local kids and families. Harris Park Musallah has been very instrumental in connecting and bringing the local community even closer to the deen of Allah (SWT). 

The lease of the Musallah is due to expire soon and now we are in need of securing this property or a similar suitable property nearby in order to establish a permanent place of worship for the local community. Parramatta/Harris Park localities are home to a large and growing muslim population and the place will also benefit people working & visiting Parramatta and Harris Park areas. 

Hence, we are looking to collect a deposit amount of AUD 300,000/- in order to purchase the existing property or a similar suitable property nearby. While the current operational costs of the Musallah are being managed from the donations and Friday prayer collections from the local muslims, we are in need of your help in achieving this bigger and greater objective of securing a permanent place. 

This is a sincere appeal to all muslim brothers and sisters to help establish a house of Allah (SWT) at Harris Park which will be Sadaqa Jariya for us all, and a place to offer prayers and learn the deen for generations to come.
