Purchase Car and Move-in Funds. No car 15 months

Hi, my name is Bobby I have been ok in Fla 30 years, put myself through college and managed ok for many years. Why Go Fund Me? Accident totalled my car 15 months ago. T-boned and miracle here to write about it. On foot as when a teen. Understatement is that it has been surreal since that accident. On foot and other means, but I fight, work hard and keep trying. I'm not a teen and have some limitations physically.

I have been doing the best I can the past 15 months WITHOUT a car and in a temporary rental situation. That's why this is so important to me. A car will greatly and better enable me to get back on my feet so I can make it!

15 months is a long time... day by day working toward and hoping for the right breaks after a series of unfortunate bad breaks.

It's hard to overcome. I certainly need a boost of encouragement, a sense of hope and belief.... the backing of others ... knowing that someone cares, is helping and rooting me on.

Here's what happened:

I flew into NY a few times to see, speak, hug and hold my Mom Marie when she was finally released and could be seen after a year locked up in hospitals and skilled medical care center.

My sister worked relentlessly amung many other things to basically build a hospital of sorts in moms apartment and arrange nursing care 24/7 so Mom could be released before her passing. She was 1 full year in a care facility due to a Stoke/ CA and no visitors allowed.

It was a difficult time many things at once as my apartment lease exp when flying back and forth to New York and I was unemployed at the time and all money was going out and nothing in!! All rent, flights and much more being paid out, nothing added in. Regardless, we will go near broke to see a loved before their passing especially when it is Mom!✨️❤️

1 week later I was in a new job in Florida. The sad part.... that at the end of my 1st week shift on my 5th day on the new job, my car was T-Boned and deemed a total loss.

I started taking buses, LYFT taxi and renting cars try to find a car to buy, but no luck as all the cars were priced $thousands above more than worth. Everyone was seeking to make killing on the car shortage, so junk cars valued undrr $1k sold for $thousands more than a year prior.

Account dropping rapidly long past a month my car destroyed, but renting car to find one to buy. Price range lowering by the week.

Soon funds so depleted I had to abandon my conviction to "buy a car first at all costs". Now I needed to work to save more to buy one.

Account became so low and I was still out of work seeking a car to buy, that I had no choice but to find any job near room rental in a new city i just moved to in Palm..Beach County and try to save more again to buy a car.

I was blessed to find a room rental throufh friends when all this took place. Swallow pride and asked around. Embarrassing but needed.

As frugal as possible working low pay job it took a long time to save a couple thousand only to be seeking work again with economy lay off and employees not coming in to work. Sales team was let go and a clean house lay offs even thw sales manager and the store managers were let go.

So at the next new job which took many weeks to secure starting over with all monies outgoing once again I determined I must take job close to home to keep Lyft Taxi costs as low as possible.

I have been in this cycle the past

15 months of low paying job near where I temporarily live (room rental). Several weeks between jobs looking I take the first job that says "Yes, you are hired".

Trying to better myself and find new job takes much time and has its risks.

Here is the reason why this is so important and vital that I create Go Fund Me page: Most recently:

Nov 18 out work 20 days now with a back injury and I need to move before Christmas! (By Dec 18th)

This is the urgency and reason for placing this fund raiser to aquire funding for a CAR. Naturally+ reg, tag ins.

Also for any funds to help move into a place. 1st, security, truck move etc.

I have this chance at a car by a friend for $1500 then, tax tags & insurnace at least have car as shelter if it gets to that. This is so humbling but I have to try.

Sure it is an old car and something may break early, but must believe as this is best hope to acquire a running car. Price

I should be clear to return to work any day...just waiting on HR.

While Im thankful the reality exists .. depending on where I may be renting ... this will determine if I need to find new work in a new city if that is where I find a room rental? It's so much all at once.
