Purchase rescue equipment and medical supplies
Tax deductible
The Montrose Search and Rescue team (MSAR) is a non-profit 501(C)(3) volunteer organization. As such, MSAR relies on the donations of private citizens and businesses in the local community. All funds are used to purchase and maintain medical supplies and technical rescue equipment.
Even as a volunteer organization, Montrose Search and Rescue members are dedicated to the demanding work of emergency responders. Each woman and man who is a member is on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year. MSAR averages over 100 calls per year, which makes Montrose Search and Rescue one of the busiest teams in the county. In addition to these calls, MSAR performs weekend patrols where they help with hundreds of vehicle accidents in the Angeles National Forest each year. Whether searching for lost/injured hikers, a traffic collision in the mountains, or technical rope rescue, Montrose Search and Rescue is always there to answer the call. And we need your help to raise money. Thank you in advance for your support.
