Purchase two Obi Feeders

While staying at the Ronald McDonald House, Bowey and I met two awesome kids that also have Arthrogryposis. Because their Arthrogryposis affects them in their upper extremities, they are unable to independently feed themselves. They rely solely on others to feed them. Bowey was the same until she received her robotic Obi Feeder. It is literally life changing as she is now able to feed herself. She loves the independence this gives her! There is also so much dignity and pride that comes with independently feeding herself.

Insurance and disability Medicaid almost always deny the feeder stating that it is not a medically necessary device, yet these kids can not feed themselves without it! The Moms of these two kids have done everything to get access to a feeder but because they are repeatedly denied, they are unable to purchase a feeder.
