Purple Lemonade Stand 2020

Tax deductible
Six-year-old Grey hosted her first "Purple Lemonade Stand" after her sister Blair was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare, genetic disorder that slowly takes away a child's ability to walk, talk, and care for oneself with a life expectancy in the teens. The goal of the Purple Lemonade Stand was to raise funds and awareness for Sanfilippo Syndrome.

The fundraiser has been hosted annually each Spring and with the support of our community, thousands of dollars have been raised to help fund a cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome. It is up to the families of these children to continue raising funds for research.

Grey's sister Blair passed away in April of 2017 at the age of 15. Grey continues her efforts in hopes that other families won't have to go through what hers did.

April 2020 would have been the tenth anniversary of the Purple Lemonade Stand. Due to COVID-19, the special event was cancelled. Unfortunately, while much of the world has paused this year, the disease continues to progress.

With the help of Grey's club at school, Students Stand for Courage, we are excited to host the first ever Drive-Through Purple Lemonade Stand! If you are unable to attend the fundraiser in person, please consider donating here. 100% of your donation will go to the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation.
